Molly's Impending Arrival!

So I just wanted to put an update out there on Molly's upcoming arrival. We had an MD appointment today and the appointment itself went relatively well. Molly is still measuring 1 week ahead of schedule which is no big deal at all. We discussed inducing...I really don't want to unless we can deliver on 9/9/9! How fun would that be!? But alas, Doc Joe is not available that day...so we scheduled an induction for 9/4/9! Yay! Still contains my favorite number! I can handle that. And of course this comes with a BUT...

BUT....Molly is STILL not in the correct position to be delivered. So...we have another appointment next Friday. IF at that point there is still a question as to how she is positioned, we have to do another ultrasound. IF that ultrasound shows she has to be repositioned...we have to call in another doctor and, depending on the MD, reposition her and deliver her in the same day. This could be as early as 8/25/9. We honestly don't have any idea because she is moving so much. However, should she make up her mind and settle down, we will have her on the 4th at the lastest! YAY! I am super excited to meet her and just can't wait!

So who do we think she'll look like?!?!

Jeff?

Stephanie?

Or her handsome big brother Seth!?

Soon enough we will find out!!

A KP Update

Jeff has been able to contact me using a pre-paid phone card the last couple of days. We can only talk for about 15 minutes but it's so much more than I ever expected. He started his journey to Afghanistan early in the week and is currently stuck at an air force base overseas. His flights into Afghanistan keep getting canceled and it seems as though maybe it just isn't a big priority to get the advanced party where they need to be. Jeff is dealing with this is his own Jeff way. He's hanging out but very frustrated because this isn't a bump in the road he expected. So he has virtually nothing to do and cannot complete any of the tasks assigned to him as a member of the advanced party. My heart goes out to him because he just wants to get on with this. He's in limbo and that just sucks!

Here on the homefront things seem to be going well. We had our annual Women of Faith conference this year. I made it through most of the two day event. I had to bow out of the 1st night's activities because I was SOO tired and my feet were SOO swollen. Today went all right though and it was nice to spend time with my mom and her friend, Tammy. Seth got to stay with Grandpa Haywood for the two days we were gone. This had to be an extra special treat for both of them! Grandpa is just a HUGE angel in Seth's eyes and just can't get enough of him. They seemed to have fun. We went to dinner after the day's events and Seth was SOOO wound up! He would flirt with everyone that walked by and seemed to have our waitress wrapped around his finger! He is getting so talkative I just can't believe it! Today when we came home I asked him how his day was (which is something I always try to ask) and today he actually said "Gooood" with this little twang! It was hilarious! Next week starts a new journey for Seth. The new school year starts on Monday which means new teachers and a new classroom. I am hoping he handles these changes with ease but I sure am nervous about it! Seth's previous teachers knew his situation and were able to work with him through some of the "emotional" struggles Seth had. He got lots of extra love and he definately loved his Miss Ammy. I just hope that this change doesn't completely throw him for a loop!

I'll try to keep things updated about Jeff. I know he's got lots of love being sent his way and lots of people are praying for him. Both are greatly appreciated!

Can you believe that in 28 days (or so) we are going to be blessed with another beautiful bundle!?!

Life at The KPs Minus a KP

So it's been a little hairy around here. When Jeff first left for Camp Atterbury, Seth really struggled with missing his daddy. The girls at daycare were noticing behavior changes and at home he was getting very cranky with me. VERY UNLIKE my little Seth. But Dad had a weekend pass to come home before he flies to Afghanistan and things seem to be looking up. Seth is getting his 2 year molars in but other than that, he seems very content. He's such a happy guy. I have tried so very hard to make sure that Dad is still in his life. I have made a book with pictures of him and Daddy that he can read. We talk about him everyday. I think that we will make it through this...we have such wonderful family, friends, co-workers, daycare family etc that we couldn't imagine a life any other way right now.
As for Molly...now she is a whole different child. She is so fiesty! I can't wait to meet this little thing. She's been so busy in my belly that I just sit and laugh. She's due in about 5 weeks now. I hope she hangs in there. I would like to go back to work the week after Seth's 2nd birthday and if she goes full term, I can do that! We are almost completely ready for her. Just a few things left we need to get and we'll be all set!

Last, I will just post some funnies of my little man!

Oh the joys of a good box!

Who doesn't want a little Ritter's now and then?
